PROFESSOR OF THEATRE/ACTOR/DIRECTOR

The Laramie Project.  What a fabulous play and what a committed company.  I remember my student, Bob Allen, sitting next to me at auditions. He was directing a student production so we were sharing the audition.  Bob wanted to focus on his directing and did not plan to audition. After about the third actor reading Jedadiah Schulz, Bob couldn't take it. He realized that he wanted the role. He jumped up and auditioned.  It worked, that is Bob squatting at center in the show ending tableau.
