Snakes Butterbeans and The Discovery of Electricity was a devised work inspired by a book of short stories by Westminster Professor Emeritus Jim Perkins. Jim based the book on his childhood growing up in Covington KY in the 1940s.  The company adapted Jim's prose into dramatic text and added stories of their own to create the piece that spoke to the universality of childhood innocence.
